Learn how to convert YouTube videos to MP3

Initial installation

First of all, make sure you have downloaded and installed Free YouTube to MP3 Converter TURBO. Download our YouTube converter here. Run the downloaded file once to install it on your PC. Once that is done, you are ready to convert YouTube videos to MP3 files.

Converting YouTube videos to MP3 - There are two ways

You can tell the converter which videos to convert in two different ways:

1) Start the converter by clicking the icon on your Desktop, or select it from Start menu -> All Programs -> Free YouTube to MP3 TURBO Converter. Once started, click the "Add video link" button and enter/copy and paste the link to the YouTube video.

2) Enable a convert button in your browser. This is by far the simplest solution, as you can then convert a video directly from your browser by clicking a convert button in the browser. Follow the steps below to enable this feature.

Enable browser integration

Make sure you have browser integration enabled in Free YouTube to MP3 Converter TURBO. Start it and click the Settings button. On the Extras tab, enable the browsers you want to add the YouTube converter button to:

Using with Firefox

In Firefox you will find the icon next to the browser address bar:

Using with Internet Explorer

In Internet Explorer you will find the icon on the Command Bar. In Internet Explorer 9, it is hidden by default and you have to enable it first:



Select "Command Bar" from the pop-up menu:



Once the command bar is enabled, you will find the convert button here:

Converting a YouTube video to MP3

Now that you have the convert button available in your browser, you simply visit the YouTube video you wish to convert to MP3. Click the convert button, and the video will be downloaded, converted to MP3 and placed in your My Music folder. Simple as that!
